For years, society makes human’s guardians to teach the girls what to do or how to act so they won’t be raped. There’s nothing wrong to this, it’s just a precaution, but it is not enough. Before telling girls what to do, why not teach the boys first to respect women and not to objectify them? Objectifying women doesn’t prove you’re a guy. It just makes you an asshole.
(I take my hat off to parents/guardians who taught their kids well.)

A tip of the hat back to you in the hopes that I am teaching my daughter well. As a father, this is something that weighs heavily with me. You know, the “Knight In Shining Armor” thing. Knowing I won’t always be there to watch over her and that there’s nothing I can do about that if I want her to grow up as a strong and independent soul–that’s the hardest part.
And thank you for posting this.
